2020 Bride.. Rescheduled for 2021/2022 – Tips on Navigating Your New Date

Your wedding date was in 2020… now what!? Never before have we had to experience a mass rescheduling in the wedding industry. Now that we are facing lifting restrictions and savvy planning practices, how should you approach choosing a new date and re-planning your wedding?

Already chose your new date? Make sure you’ve communicated to all your vendors so they can revise your contracts. Then, revisit your wedding planning timeline to get on a new schedule.

Still deciding? Talk with your venue about what dates are still open and then check in with your vendors to make sure they available. Lock in your date before someone else does!

Flexibility is key! Be open to off-season or Friday/Sunday dates. Many couples are planning a low-key ceremony now and then a big reception celebration in a year when we can return to more traditional wedding planning.
