Intimate Weddings

Due to the change in the event industry caused by COVID-19, we are seeing many more intimate weddings taking place now and being planned for the future. These small weddings are breaking traditions by only highlighting the most important elements of a wedding day. With small weddings, there is still a good deal of planning that goes into creating that magic feeling.

An intimate wedding is typically between 10-50 guests. You still want to consider booking a venue or coordinating a tent if you want to have the wedding at home. Next up will be catering. If you have a venue that serves food and beverages you can create a custom package for your size event. A tented wedding will require all vendors to be brought in and may take a little more time to narrow down your options.

In either style of venue, key items such as florals and table settings are what make an intimate wedding still feel as special as a large-scale wedding. Paying attention to details when limiting the guest size will show the personalized touch you can now offer each attendee. Choose your stationery and signage carefully to give that “Wow” factor from the invitation to the signature cocktails. Lastly, when planning an intimate wedding there can still be a timeline to create structure to the day. Booking an upbeat MC or DJ will get your guests flowing from the moment they enter and begin mingling. Eliminating some of the traditional aspects of a large wedding does not mean an intimate wedding cannot be as fun! Being mindful of the details will make any size wedding a night to remember!
