Using Zoom for your Wedding

If your wedding got postponed because of COVID-19, you are probably wondering what alternatives you can explore to celebrate on the date you originally chose. Many couple are opting to continue their nuptials virtually and saving the big celebration for later on in the year. A platform that has made this possible for many is Zoom.

Zoom is great because it allows a gallery view of everyone you have invited so you get a full screen of all your loved ones! Zoom is also compatible with all types of devices, so no one gets left out. You can schedule a meeting ahead of time and have everyone add it to their calendars. There are also different account levels available in case you need more time.

When sending out your Zoom invite, add any notes for your guests like what refreshments they should have or how to dress. You can set up your own sweetheart table and allow everyone to join you from their homes as you share your first kiss, first dance, and cake cutting. Many officiants and photographers are maintaining social distancing while performing their wedding services. Our tip: set up a test run beforehand so when everyone logs on your camera is in a good place!
