Planning a Wedding with Pinterest and Social Media

We love the wedding inspiration at our fingertips from Pinterest and other social media sites. It so great to have resources to find out what is trending and unique details. There are both pros and cons to finding your wedding inspo on these websites.

Pros:

Access to countless images of inspiration. The ability to view everything from hair and makeup looks to real wedding table settings. Plenty of DIY project ideas and links to purchase items seen in a photo.

Cons:

The deception of the styled shoot. It is so easy to fall in love with a table setting only to find out the budget for that styled shoot was thousands … for one table! It is also common to be fooled by how easy a DIY project may be, only to find out the end result is expensive and extremely time consuming.

We encourage finding inspiration on the internet, but make sure you are being realistic about what you find! Looks can often be replicated but you may have to compromise! What are your favorite websites for wedding inspiration?
